**Venue Sourcing specialist / project meeting manager**

Full-time, based in Puteaux (Paris La Défense) - hybrid (to be discussed)

The Sourcing Manager owns and manages client relationships and will serve as the liaison between the meeting planner and the hotel/supplier during the sourcing and contracting phase of the meeting and occasionally during the duration of the meeting.

You are primarily responsible for site research, selection, RFP development, value-added client counseling, budgeting, negotiations, contracting, and savings consolidation. Additional responsibilities may include attendee registration, website development, program organization, onsite management, and reconciliation on a limited scale.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Source hotel availability based on the program specifications. Provide (via meetings technology) preliminary rate, availability grids, and preliminary program budgets, as required to assist the Client meeting sponsor in making a final decision on program location.
- Negotiate hotel and venue contracts.
- Effectively be able to negotiate Client specific addendum with vendors and venues.
- Work with the Client on hotel deposit payments.
- Manage day-to-day industry relationships.
- Utilize and leverage Client preferred hotel agreements when negotiating hotel contracts.
- Schedule and attend supplier visits as required.
- Ensure technology data integrity.
- Research preferred suppliers to include in RFP responses and provide recommendations potentially.
- Track and report hotel room nights, spending, and savings; ensure technology data integrity.

**You're good at**
- Strong knowledge on venue sourcing (especially in France)
- Prior event experience and Cvent knowledge is preferred (if possible Qondor /AGM)
- Understanding of meeting types and associated considerations (also knowledge on pharmaceutical industry with their specific rules)
- General understanding of destinations, hotels, and suppliers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French / English (mandatory)
- Agency experience in the Meeting, and Event management in requested

- Le rôle de Chargé(e) de projets, spécialisé en venue sourcing est en relation avec les clients et pour rechercher les lieux de meetings/ hôtels. Il doit en charge des négociations, et organisation. Il fera le suivi en amont et sur toute la partie administrative.
- Vous êtes principalement responsable de la recherche des lieux, de la sélection, de l’élaboration de offres client, du conseil, des budgets, des négociations, de l’optimisation des économies.
- Parmi les tâches, vous pouvez être aussi en charge de la gestion des inscriptions des participants, du développement de site Web, de l’organisation du programme, de la gestion sur place et du suivi de l’ensemble de chaque projet et réconciliation budgétaire et administrative.
- Les projets peuvent être variés en contenu et en taille, de 10 à 500 participants.
- Il est nécessaire d’être ouvert et avoir un esprit d’équipe, d’être flexible et coopérer.
