We're looking for a **Junior AI Engineer** to join the Post-Processing & Evaluation squad working on Mirakl's **AI Catalog Transformer**, a GenAI-native product that powers catalog and content enrichment across Mirakl Connect.
This is a hands-on, growth-oriented role where you'll contribute to improving the **quality, reliability, and trustworthiness** of GenAI** models and outputs**, while learning from experienced AI engineers and data scientists.
**About the Role**:
As a Junior AI Engineer, you will:
- Contribute to the development and optimization of **post-processing pipelines** that clean, structure, and validate AI-generated content
- Support the design and execution of **model evaluation workflows**, including automated metrics and human-in-the-loop assessments
- Help build and maintain **internal tools** used by business teams (Sales, Customer Success, Support) to monitor and explain AI output quality
- Participate in **ground truth data curation**, annotation quality control, and preparation of datasets for fine-tuning
Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality, production-ready features
- Continuously learn about **GenAI models, evaluation techniques, and software/data engineering practices**
**What We're Looking For**:
- Up to 2 years of experience in **AI/ML, data science, or software engineering**
Solid Python skills and knowledge of data tools (SQL, pandas, etc.); experience with ML or LLMs is a plus
- Interest in **GenAI evaluation, model quality, and post-processing**
Curiosity, attention to detail, and a hands-on mindsetStrong communication skills in English (French is a plus) and ability to work cross-functionallyEagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced AI team
