The Operations team sits next to the engineering organization, leading projects that deliver IPs to our internal and external partners, guided by our segment-specific business groups. Our project managers work with project teams across the organization to deliver great products to our partners and Arm as a whole.
Our team is located in Europe, India and the US, so you should be ready to build relationships with colleagues across geographical and time boundaries. In future, there may be opportunities for international travel to other Arm sites in the US, Europe, and Asia.
As a Project Manager you will lead project teams in the course of projects lifecycle, building plans, managing risks and changes, tracking milestones progress, reporting, so ensuring projects achievement on time, quality and budget. A typical example might be leading a Logic or Memory project based on relevant workflow. This will require the management and coordination of multiple projects across the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Addressing all Project Life Cycle Phases with adherence to workflows, policies and guidelines
- Developing project plans and schedules in close collaboration with IP Lead,
- Identifying and managing dependencies and risks,
- Working with engineering leaders to ensure projects are appropriately resourced and supported to deliver against their objectives,
- Tracking and monitoring progress against plans,
- Reporting project status, risks and issues into the project and to program managers
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Previous experience of design or project lead and product development in microelectronics engineering
- Able to collaborate with others to resolve problems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- English speaking/writing is a must
**Nice to have Skills and Experience**:
- Use of core project management tools
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Teams, Jira
- An effective communicator with good written and oral presentation skills
