**SUMMARY OF THE POSITION**

The main mission of the Operations Manager is to manage and supervise the operations of a Capago Visa Application Centres and to handle the liaison between Capago and the represented Diplomatic Authority.

He has for responsibility to ensure that operations at Capago comply with the requirements of the specifications and to create a good working relationship based on trust between the represented Diplomatic Authority and the company.

Clear-headedness and leadership qualities are key skills in this senior level role.
- **The Operations Manager has to be fluent in French, Hindi and English**
- **French is a big plus.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**

The duties and responsibilities of the Operations Manager are as follows:

- Ensure proper execution of the specifications defined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- Ensure that the company policies, rules and regulations are enforced by employees and outsourced partners e.g. security personnel etc.;
- Oversee team management in conjunction with supervisor;
- Participate in the constant improvement of business processes;
- Implement practices to ensure an excellent quality of the daily production by the team;
- Attend operational meetings with the consulate;
- Plan and conduct general staff meetings in conjunction with the supervisor;
- Expeditiously respond to consulate's queries regarding files, requirements or procedures;
- Ensure the team is updated on rules regarding visa processing as per consulate's instructions;
- Raise tickets/ concerns when equipment is not functioning at its optimal;
- Define staffing needs in conjunction with supervisor and file staffing requests with the management team;
- Manage the daily roster in conjunction with the supervisor;
- Identify training needs and highlight them to the Human Resource Department;
- Address particular sensitive complaints from clients which can not be handled by the supervisor;
- Implement practices to ensure improvement of the sales performance;
- Conduct disciplinary actions when necessary;
- Manage the internal regulatory tools;
- Carry out all missions entrusted to him/her.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**

The skills required to fulfil this position are as follows:

- Excellent command of the English **and French** languages ( spoken and written );
- Excellent organisational capacity;
- Good knowledge and proficiency in IT tools, in particular the Microsoft Office package;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Clear-headedness;
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable;
- Ability to be reactive;
- Ability to take initiative;
- Ability to be methodological and rigorous.

**REPORTING STRUCTURE**

The Operations Manager reports directly to the Regional Operation Manager.

**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**

The required educational qualifications for this position are as follows:

- Matric with a bachelor's degree pass;
- Minimum : Degree in Business Administration or any such other relevant degree.

- New Delhi
- Bangalore
- Bombay
- Calcutta
- Pondicherry
