Responsibilities
- Lead the Presales team of MOVE Automotive BU
- Assist MOVE Automotive Sales team in all phases of the selling process.
- Interact with internal and external customers.
- Work with Product Management to identify/qualify customer requests & define requirements
- Work with Product Managers to reflect customer requirements in feature set & road map
- Lead, manage & provide direct technical input to customer RFPs / RFIs.
- Understand pricing mechanisms and guide sales/presales team in building commercial proposals.
- Maintain contact and open communication with customers to assist with future needs.
- Supporting and guiding in preparation of technical sales materials including collateral, quotation, timeline, project plan and solution proposals.

Broad outline of the Role
Relevant experience
- 15-20 years of experience in Core Mobility, Internet of Things and BSS presales.
- Solid understanding of wireless technologies 3G/LTE/5G and understanding of evolved packet core including landscape of vendors/products/key attributes.
- Solid understanding of the 3GPP and xRAN/oRAN standards bodies.
- Solid understanding of operator core and IT networks including IT/OSS integration requirements.
- Good understanding of the RAN (2G/3G/4G/5G)
- Strong roaming concepts, deep understanding on the call flows, BSCs, MSCs, HLR, components of traditional switching and evolved switching.
- Strong understanding of the IoT use cases (especially Automotive, Telematics) and able to create solutions for Connectivity & Analytics relating to the use case.
- Highly proficient listener & consultative solution style with the ability to shape customer thinking
- Excellent communications skills in verbal, written and presentation forms at senior levels
- Acute attention to detail & organization
- Energetic and creative with an upbeat, positive attitude
- A team manager who works well with others, who has strong influencing skills, and is creative and entrepreneurial
- Significant, proven and demonstrable cellular wireless industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
