You join the Compliance and Internal Control team as a Confirmed Compliance and Internal Control Officer.

Your daily tasks are:

- To participate in the production of reports for the shareholder and the regulator, while drafting, updating and maintaining AEW’s regulatory documentation in coordination with the other Group entities and the shareholder to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
- Participate in the creation and updating of the various company risk maps (LCB-FT, Operational Risk, ESG,...) and in the follow-up of operational incidents;
- Provide regulatory oversight and participate in the monitoring of compliance mechanisms and regulations applicable to alternative investment fund managers (AIFs) in France;
- Manage structuring projects for the team, such as monitoring of service providers, setting up new tools, etc.;
- Participate in the missions of Internal and External Audits and General Inspection by setting up an internal organization, collecting documents, monitoring recommendations and corrective actions;
- Participate in AEW governance (Committee organization, support preparation, participation in product committees, Compliance and Internal Control,...);
- Establish the annual training plan, train our teams on the issues of compliance and internal control with practical and engaging materials, and participate in the development of the compliance and internal control team, including the Alternants and Juniors.

As an internal control professional, you participate in the definition and implementation of the internal control plan, follow-up to recommendations and implementation of corrective actions. You also contribute to the control of KYC files concerning investor clients and counterparties of real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with AML-CTF requirements, sanctions and embargoes, as well as FATCA and MiFID regulations. You keep track of the filtering tools used, including the reference base upgrade.

**Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience**:

You have a higher education background and at least 5 years of experience in similar positions, ideally in a legal or compliance environment, preferably in the asset management sector.

You are in control
- The particularities of a regulated environment dedicated to the management of alternative funds (AIFs) and associated regulations;
- The Office Pack - knowledge of World Check One and Dow Jones tools is a plus.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good listening ability, you are:

- Able to work independently and in collaboration with any type of interlocutors;
- You are detail-oriented, learn, seek solutions and are able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Appreciated for your team spirit and initiative.

You have a C1 level of English.
