Accountant
Company specializing in high-end sports travel logistics, is looking for an Accountant with a good understanding of English, 3-5 years experience, to join its growing team.
Job summary: The Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial accounts, processing financial transactions and assisting the finance and accounting team. The position involves working in several international jurisdictions. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial data.
Main responsibilities:
Recording of financial transactions
Record and categorize financial transactions in accounting software.
Assist in the entry of fixed assets.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Resolve financial discrepancies as they arise.
Suppliers:
Review and process supplier invoices and expense reports.
Prepare and process payments to suppliers.
Supervise and manage accounts payable reports.
Bank reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

Financial reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports and budgets.
Generate financial reports and statements according to management and regulatory requirements.
Payroll processing:
Assist HR with payroll processing and payment.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain accurate records.
General Ledger:
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Compliance and regulations
Documentation and filing
Processing payments and tax returns.
Keep up to date with accounting standards, laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable financial and tax regulations.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documents.
Attend internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications required:
BAC + 3 in accounting, finance or related field
Proven experience of 3-5 years in accounting or finance roles.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of SAGE FRP accounting software would be a plus.
Fluency in English would be a plus.
