**This role will focus on**:
- To repair, service and overall maintain Watson-Marlow and Flexicon products. Investigation and evaluating issues may also be required, with the appropriate reporting
- A key focus on ensuring that products are investigated, evaluated, and as required serviced and repaired efficiently and effectively providing long-term reliability and customer satisfaction for the Watson-Marlow and Flexicon products and systems.
- Responsible for providing excellent and proactive customer service, maintenance, and repairs.
- Take part in fault finding and repairs, on and offsite covering all Watson-Marlow and Flexicon products.
- Carry out performance and safety testing in accordance with the relevant specification.
- Evaluate customer returns and if appropriate and required, action the restocking of products.
- Monitoring and recording of recurring or common faults, noting patterns and reporting these as appropriate.
- Generation of repair documentation and repair quotations.
- Ensure customer requests are carried out and rectified within a timely manner, and are done so within service contract response times as appropriate.
- Focus on continuous improvement by recognising opportunities for development, and suggesting improvements to processes or procedures, potentially reducing repair time and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration and a strong team member of the broader Service team.
- Collaboration and partnership with other WMFTG teams within EMEA and also the atson-Marlow and Flexicon Supply Company
- Comply with all aspects of WMFTG and SSE Group policies, processes and DoAs
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- An engineering qualification or an equivalent engineering background and experience
- Understanding and confidence with interpreting schematic drawings and component level fault finding.
- Delivery focused, proactive, organised self-starter with the confidence and judgement to make decisions and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including customers
- Excellent customer service and collaboration skills
- A passion for high quality, continues improvement and offering a world-class service
- High personal impact and a strong team player
- Ability to understand cultural differences and corporate culture
