Varenne is seeking graduating student or professional to join its Investor Relations team, with a focus on international markets. The Analyst/Associate will report to the Managers of the team and ultimately to the Managing Director, Business Development. The Analyst/Associate will work independently, and in conjunction with members of different teams to support the Firm’s investor reporting, client servicing, marketing, and communications efforts. We are looking for an individual who is intellectually curious, collaborative, with outstanding organizational and communication skills to join an entrepreneurial firm that continues to grow.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the firm's products and apply/communicate such knowledge to investor reports and updates
- Produce marketing, fund reporting packages and other investor deliverables, including monthly performance updates, and other regular data requests
- Ensure timely delivery and accurate recordkeeping of various communications
- Collaborate with colleagues across teams to obtain, analyze, and synthesize data for use in investor reports and other client communications
- Work independently and with management (including the Managing Director, Business Development, among others)
- Prepare investor diligence requests, including DDQs, RFPs, and ad hoc questions, ensuring timely, accurate and appropriate responses
- Help coordinate due diligence and investor meetings
- Help lead projects (qualitative and quantitative) related to organization, automation and/or process improvements within the Investor Relations function
- Proactively take on ad hoc projects and provide support for new business initiatives, as needed
- Update and maintain the CRM system
- Management of the Internet website backoffice

**Areas of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of related work experience at an asset manager, investment adviser, advisory consultant, bank, or applicable industry firm
- Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent technical and quantitative skills; strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities in a time-sensitive environment
- Highly motivated, proactive team player with a positive attitude
- Outstanding reputation of professional integrity
- Fluency in English
- Interest in the CFA program is a plus
- VBA, Python, SQL and other programming languages are a plus
