Job Description
Mission
The Applications Supervisor is responsible for coordinating technical support in the field of CMM (Three-dimensional measuring machine) and MAPD (flexible programmable gauge system for metrological quality control in the workshop). He/She is also in charge of smooth coordination of the aftermarket activity for CGSE/CGSY products (heads, sensors, probes, etc.). He/She works closely with the sales organization to demonstrate product capabilities while providing perfect field support and service for commissioning and maintaining systems.
Main Responsibilities- Supervision and validation of customers projects studies- Drive and conduct technical feasibility studies and tests- Manage installation, commissioning and aftermarket support for systems and solutions for CGSY ranges- Prepare and conduct customer demonstrations of products and services in the CGSY area- Ensure good communication with internal and external stakeholders & clients- Manage customer service operations- Perform customer visits when required and as technical support to the sales team- Contribute with technical expertise in building a solution that meets the needs of customers- Keep abreast of technology trends and competition situation and solutions, maintain close relationships with the Product Divisions in Renishaw- Maintenance and upgrade of demonstration equipment- Ensure the availability of tools and equipment required for the business- Supervise the CGSE service process (definition, follow-up and update)- Provide support to the Sales Administration team regarding Parts Identification- Provide technical support (Hotline) for CGSE, CGSY ranges- Ensure adequate tracking & documentation of activities
Requirements- Minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial environment (mechanical/ metrology/ production)- Recommended higher education diploma- Experience in project management- Good communication skills, and command of modern communication tools- Dimensional metrology and general mechanics- Production processes in industries targeted by CMM and Gauging products. Installation of industrial processes- French as mother tongue or bilingual- Good command of spoken, written and read English- Ability to work independently, and to analyze and understand complex technical issues related to metrology- Ability to network and identify where information is available, to listen, inform and persuade- Proven experience in managing difficult situations with demonstrated problem solving skills- Ability to understand and process technical elements. Analytical and decision-making skills, and ability to assign tasks while valuing and empowering- Adaptability to new environments and scenarios. Flexibility to work with different countries, cultures, teams- Flexibility to travel within the region (occasionally abroad)- Driving license
