The Insurance Team Being part of Alan’s insurance community offers the opportunity to impact health and wellbeing across our markets. We work with data scientists, designers, engineers, and product managers to build differentiated products and provide a delightful experience at a fair price. We manage offers for large companies and public institutions and monitor risk in our portfolio, including capital management and reinsurance strategy. Your role As Alan’s Risk Expert, you will provide automated and scalable risk assessment tools and contribute to our risk and capital management framework. Risk modeling Strengthen and automate the Solvency II balance sheet and capital requirements projections across health, death, and disability lines. Model new risks (new products, branches, international expansion, investments, etc.). Challenge risk appetite, propose risk metrics, and build tools to monitor them. Support board meeting preparation and communicate with investors regarding capital evolution and market risks. Regulatory Scale and automate regulatory quantitative reporting; contribute to SFCR, RSR, and ORSA narratives. Support discussions with supervisors and assess international opportunities for new markets. Capital management Propose improvements to capital management across the four countries where Alan operates. Manage reinsurance strategy, negotiate with partners, and analyze reinsurance reporting. Team Growth Create processes and resources to strengthen risk and capital understanding. Support identification and hiring of new talents for Insurance and Risk teams. Is it you we’re looking for? You would thrive if you Have solid expertise in the Solvency II regulatory framework, especially S2 accounting; knowledge of Health, Life, and Market risks is a bonus. Are fluent in English with written French for regulatory interactions. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis capabilities. Can automate processes and build new tools; programming skills are a plus. Bring rigor and reliability to reporting, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. Have strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
