Mobile Networks Business Development Manager

**Description**:
NXP are looking for a mobile network operator business development specialist to join our EMEA team, to join as a **Mobile Network Operator (MNO) Business Development Manager.**

eSIM solutions are rising, and offer a number of benefits over traditional SIM cards. They meet the complex logístical needs that come with the issuance of MNO subscriptions to the phone, while saving space on the device. They also contribute to a more sustainable supply chain by removing traditional plastic SIM cards. NXP eSIM solution is going through testing against all major MNOs to ensure a frictionless experience for OEMs, MNOs and, most importantly, consumers, once they activate the eSIM cellular service.

As part of this role, you will be responsible to build a living MNO survey that will map the launch of Remote SIM Provisioning service by MNOs, network and engage with MNOs to target the corresponding responsible teams and individuals, and finally engage these to ensure NXP eUICC product is successfully tested compliant against their service.

You will have to develop new paths by meeting and engaging with all the relevant MNOs in your assigned area and priorities, which is a challenging but rewarding task both intellectually & in terms of self-development. Your role may be progressively expanded to other market verticals, which will broaden your prospection scope as you progress.

**Your responsibilities**:
As a key member of the BD team in your region, your responsibilities will include:

- Open MNO doors (both strategic accounts and beyond in the region) and identify RSP plans (existing eSIM support infrastructure, if not get plans and respective bring-up and launch timelines, key owners and teams in eSIM and SMDP+ activities).
- Set-up relevant confidential agreement if required and relevant.
- Represent NXP and pitch MNOs the added value to enable NXP with eSIM testing materials (MNO eSIM testing process if any, testing means, eg. live lines).
- Work with product marketing to entertain values of such pre-testing compared to other eSIM vendors.
- Build-up and maintain relation with key stakeholders at MNOs in light of enabling replay NXP eSIM testing for future NXP products portfolio (eg. SIM/eSIM/SMDP teams).
- Build-up and maintain a survey of MNOs Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) status:

- Having a detailed view of RSP service available commercially on each MNO, along with Subscription Management and Data Preparation platforms (SMDP) and eSIM service launched. Including any type(s) of connectivity profile(s) the respective MNO has commercially launched, and/or respective profile(s) development plans including commercial launch timelines.
- In the process to launch RSP and eSIM service, and by when they will launch commercially, and respective profile(s) development plans including commercial launch timelines,
- Identify development plans for those not having a firm plan yet.
- Work hand in hand with:

- NXP MNO enablement project manager and eUICC product marketing team to define funnel of opportunities and priorities.
- NXP technical carrier lead team to enable testing execution (execution by NXP and/or MNO).
- Leverage acquired network and relations:

- Helping to build vertical diversification vision and opportunities beyond Mobile Consumer: Identify potential areas of extension of cooperation beyond testing enablement (eg. service, other verticals like NB-IoT, LTE-CatM), and feed product marketing team with MNO IoT trends and opportunities.
- Identifying opportunities for other NXP solutions.

**Your profile**
- 5 to 10 years of experience in product/solution/service business development
- Ideally engaging with mobile network operators.
- Background in engaging mobile network operators consumer OEM devices.
- Background in semiconductor, SIM/eSIM or related products and services.
- Demonstrable experience with cross functional teams and good communication skills to operate in a global environment with multiple partners located abroad.
- Able to manage multiple complex projects at the same time.
- Bachelors/Masters in Engineering.
- Fluent in English language both oral and written.
- Prepared to regional travel.
- Initiative and entrepreneurial attitude. Creative with a shrewd business acumen and ability to drive an ecosystem-approach. The role requires rather applicable business development skills than very deep technical competence in the above described disciplines/curriculum.
