The Executive Director of Product Management will oversee all aspects of product management across all L-Acoustics product divisions: Solutions, Software, Services, Innovation, Loudspeakers, and Electronics. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, develop roadmaps, and manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch. The role also includes managing and developing a team of Directors of Product Management and collaborating with senior leaders across the organization. This position requires strong, proactive leadership and the ability to drive large-scale product initiatives with a lifecycle-focused mindset.

Role Description:

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, grow, and optimize the product management function by establishing decision-making processes, governance, and best practices, while promoting stakeholder engagement.

  • Define and execute the overall product management strategy aligned with company goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Product Management Directors, ensuring success across all products and services, including development, growth, pricing, operations, and financial performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Application Projects, Sales/Business Development) to define product roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful launches.

  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and positioning to internal stakeholders and act as an ambassador externally.

  • Drive the entire product lifecycle—from ideation to development, launch, enhancement, and end-of-life.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Product Management division.

  • Provide regular updates to top management on product strategy, performance, and milestones.

Strategic Areas of Ownership

Research & Analysis

  • Define success metrics across all divisions.

  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and SWOT analysis to inform product and service requirements.

Product & Market Strategy

  • Craft a compelling vision and roadmap for a broad portfolio of products across multiple markets and geographies.

  • Translate business strategy into actionable product and service strategies for all divisions.

  • Monitor progress toward objectives and recommend improvements based on market insights and performance data.

Product Development & Lifecycle

  • Oversee execution of product strategy, ensuring alignment between Product Management and R&D.

  • Manage collaboration and communication flow for timely product development.

Support & Product Evangelism

  • Lead marketing campaigns and develop sales collateral for all divisions.

  • Supervise planning and execution of high-profile product launch events.

Key-User Relations

  • Maintain strong relationships with industry influencers and consulting firms to enhance market intelligence.

  • Engage with key clients to gather feedback and integrate insights into strategic development.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build consensus and shared vision across the organization.

  • Attract, develop, and retain a diverse, high-performing team.

  • Set clear goals, provide training, and ensure continuous skill growth within the team.
