Network Support Engineer - Onsite in Lille - 3 Month Initial Contract - Outside of IR35 £500-600p/d Background:
A long standing UK based customer are continuing their expansion into Europe by opening a site in Lille. In the initial phases of the expansion has been supported by Engineers from the UK but they are keen to explore having some local resource.
The role will be Network support of the below technologies with oversight and support coming from the UK HQ where required. The ability to speak fluent French is realistically a must but conversational level French may be considered.
Job Duties:
- Provide technical support for network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation
- Implement network security measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise network efficiency
Required Techncial Skills:
- Cisco
- Aruba
- Meraki
**Experience**:
Minimum of 3 years in network support or related roles
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools
- Understanding of Firewalls, Routers, and Switches
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
Working Conditions:
This role requires working on-site in Lille, France. Some flexibility in working hours may be necessary to support network operations.
