The Holding owns 3 manufacturing sites and employs has over 500 peoples:

- Focal’s dedicated cabinet-making facility: Bourbon-Lancy, France
- Focal’s manufacturing site : La Talaudière Saint-Étienne, France
- Naim’s manufacturing site: Wiltshire, United Kingdom

Working within the research and development team, the Compliance Engineer is responsible for all aspects of legacy and NPD product Safety, EMC and Environmental testing and type approvals.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be to:

- Lead all aspects of regulatory compliance to support NPD programmes;
- Support NPD Design and Production review processes (FMEA) to identify and develop solutions to meet national and international standards for audio/video equipment;
- Develop NPD Compliance Test Plans for prospective markets including emerging BRIT economies;
- Liaise with and submit to Approval Agencies and Test Houses, products and technical reports for global regulatory and statutory certification;
- Support QA Factory audits and inspections under CCC (China) and KCC (Korea) schemes;
- Communicate with internal R&D, Sales and Global Distributors statuary approval workflows;
- Develop and Maintain in-house test facilities and equipment;
- All employees have a responsibility for quality and must check the quality of the work they perform.

Your skills & requirements:

- Ideally, educated to HND standard in an Engineering discipline. Preferably in electrical and electronic engineering.
- Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Flexible and proactive in approach to the role.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills to identify and fix root cause failures.
- Good time management and planning skills
- The job holder should be a good team player, able to interact with all other departments.
