Group CIO activities cover IT, Tech & Data strategy, governance, architecture and piloting global transformation programs on key technologies.

Group Technology & Program Governance department supports Group CIO in his global role & mandate. The team is engaged with AXA entities’ CIO community worldwide as well as Group Operations teams to ensure the global Tech & Data strategy execution.

The main missions of the Group Technology & Program Governance department are:

- Drive governance with AXA operating companies CIOs worldwide to ensure and support the execution of the global Tech & Data strategy
- Manage Tech, Data & Security strategic global programs portfolio, ensuring joint governance with entities CIOs representatives
- Monitor financial performance, technology investments and IT spend across AXA
- Design AXA Group Operations programs/projects methodology, processes & tools, manage 400+ project managers community across AXA Group Operations,
- Act as the Group CIO risk champion working alongside Group & Group Operations Risks & Control teams
- Provide guidance and drive initiatives as per Group CIO needs

JOB PURPOSE

This role supports Group CIO corporate mandate and the execution of the overall Tech Strategy across AXA
- Strengthen IT Governance with AXA operating entities & Group
- Strengthen Group CIO risks environment
- Lead transversal initiatives and special studies upon request of Head of Group Technology and Program Governance

MISSIONS

1. Drive Group CIO Governance

As part of the Group CIO governance team, you will play a central role in enhancing and maintaining effective IT governance across AXA’s operating entities and the Group. You will
- Strengthen IT Governance with AXA entities to reinforce IT governance principles, ensure alignment with AXA’s strategic objectives and enforce the Group IT Standard.
- Drive selected global technology topics in preparation of the dialogues with CIOs/CTOs from 20 entities, guiding impactful IT decisions and alignment on strategic priorities.
- Manage escalations effectively and drive action plan until closure working transversely across corporate functions, AXA GO divisions and AXA entities.
- Oversee the outsourcing to AXA GBS of selected data collection and reporting tasks to support optimization of Group Tech & Program Governance ways of working, coordinate as required with Group CIO, Group Security, Group Procurement, Group Risk and AXA GO stakeholders involved to follow up on agreed topics, ensure necessary documentation is in place, follow up cost effectiveness and quality KPIs with AGBS for the agreed scope.
- Foster continuous Improvement and lead initiatives to enhance IT governance practices, ensuring simplicity, strategic alignment, and operational efficiency.

2. Strengthen Group CIO risks environment

Building the first line of defense for Group CIO and fostering a strong risk culture across AXA CIO community, you will work closely with the CIOs, Risk Management and Operational resilience communities, formalizing and following-up standards & instructions and monitoring compliance.
