**Votre rôle et vos missions**:
**Context & Major Challenges**:
In 2016, AXA launched AXA Emerging Customers, a business dedicated to scaling up inclusive insurance solutions for the emerging middle class across Asia, Africa and Latin America. The specific protection needs of this new client segment has led us to reinvent insurance by simplifying products (focused on health, protection and property), building technology partnerships, and tying up with innovative distribution channel partnerships to better serve our clients. At end-2021, this initiative protected over circa 10M million clients, contributing to financial inclusion and sustainable development through a business approach.
Since 2021, AXA has expanded the remit of its inclusive insurance activities beyond emerging markets to also encompass the socio-economic difficulties encountered by lower middle-class customers in developed/mature markets. In these countries, mandatory insurance such as motor and home insurance can represent up to 25% of these customers’ constrained expenses, leading to un(der)-insurance. Societal shifts such as the development of independent work is also challenging traditional safety nets which are typically connected to full-time employment, leading to new protection gaps.
This new effort is already in place in France and the target is to expand it towards AXA’s other European markets, probably sequentially.

**Job Purpose**:
AXA Emerging Customers is the Group’s global inclusive insurance business unit, currently protecting circa 10 million low-to-middle income customers across Asia, Africa and Latin America, and more recently France.
Reporting to the Head of Innovation & Advocacy at AXA Emerging Customers, this role will be focused on building scalable and impactful inclusive insurance businesses across AXA’s core European markets (France excluded): Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK and Ireland, Belgium, and Switzerland. Asian mature markets could be addressed, albeit on a more tactical/opportunistic basis.

- B2B2C and agent partnership distribution with financial service providers, digital channels and public partners

Key KPIs / figures of this specific role:

- 1/ Strategy development: inclusive insurance strategy validated in the priority European markets and embedded into the Group’s broader strategic planning exercise;
- 2/ Offer design: definition of the inclusive insurance product suite designed via customer research;
- 3/ Business development: number of partnership opportunities sourced and partnerships launched
- 4/ Quantitative targets: GWP, number of customers protected, profitability indicators;

**Key Accountabilities and major related actions**:

- Defining the inclusive insurance strategy for AXA’s European Markets
- Anchoring the initiative locally with local management sponsors and animation of the governance in local entities
- Steering the definition of priority segments by market, and corresponding inclusive insurance product suit (based on consumer research, existing offers, competitive benchmark )
- Sizing the market and developing the business plan and investment needs (local team, IT investments, etc.)
- Defining the distribution strategy, brand positioning, operational model and choice of the balance sheet.
- This would be done in close coordination with 1) AXA’s European Markets leadership team 2) local inclusive insurance teams in each market, and 3) the AXA Emerging Customers business unit.
- Supporting inclusive insurance commercial development and product design
- Supporting new product development notably facilitating product approval processes via the AXA Emerging Customers relevant experts;
- Scouting distribution partnerships to take the new offers to market in alignment with the local strategy;
- Preparing partner meetings, pitch documents, commercial follow-ups and internal approvals;
- Public positioning on inclusive insurance and financial inclusion
- Positioning AXA in the policy and regulatory debates at the European Union and country levels around financial inclusion, in order to address regulatory hurdles; in collaboration with the Group Public Affairs and CSR teams
- Creating legitimacy for AXA on the topic through thought leadership projects e.g. with local communications teams and/or the AXA Research Fund;
- Participating in dedicated industry events and partnerships on financial inclusion

**Votre profil**:
**Technical Skills & Competencies**:

- Fluent in English. French, Italian, Spanish, German a real plus
- 5-10 years’ experience working for a
