Proclinical are recruiting a Medical Director, France for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Paris. Our client is focused on developing dermatology for every type of skin.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work as part of a cross functional team to offer medical contributions into lifecycle management plans.
- Collaborate with local and international teams on data evidence generation plans to assist international and local access to market.
- When needed, you will assist international R&D team and/or GMA in performance of clinical trials and experimental studies.
- Evolve and execute local medical tactics for designated products.
- Guarantee the integrity of the scientific data used in all promotional claims and materials rendering to legislative needs such as by final approval aligned with local compliance and code of practice.
- Monitor standardisation of publication planning and medical writing procedures for country medical affairs.
- You will guide the development of the tactical publication/communication plan in given medical field and keep up to date on new data and developments in given medical area.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.
**Skills & Requirements**:
- Educated to an advanced degree level in a medical scientific or similar natural science discipline such as dermatology, or immunology.
- At least 10+ years of experience in a linked Medical Affairs and/or research and development experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices and/or CRO (contract research organisation) establishment.
- Knowledge of pertinent medical fields such as prescription, aesthetic a/o consumer care within a pharmaceutical organisation.
- Acquaintance with driving medical affairs knowledge linked to products in various regulatory fields such as medicinal products, medical devices, cosmetics, etc.
- Comprehension of respective country health care system guidelines, healthcare privacy laws and any other regulatory guidelines pertinent to a pharmaceutical organisation.
- Prior involvement in pertinent country specific guidelines and legal setting such as the comprehension of the country's regulatory affairs, HCP Compliance, pharmacovigilance and market access setting.
- Solid budget planning and implementation knowledge.
- Know-how of GCP techniques and processes.
- Able to evolve solid relations and integrity with medical professionals.
- Capable of interfacing efficiently with multiple technical platforms for gathering, evaluation and dissemination of medical information.
- Able to think tactically to lead publication-linked actions rendering with industry standards and good publication practices.
- Know-how and familiarity with clinical strategy development, trial strategies and operations.
- Computer literacy in MS Office such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Fluency in the English and local language.
