**What is the mission of the procurement organization?**

The mission of Procurement Organization is to provide at worldwide level, all procurement services to its internal business partners for the achievement of ALE goals and targets.

While a key objective remains to identify opportunities for cost and cash optimization, Procurement is also responsible to uphold ALE purchasing compliance standards, as well as to maximize the interests of the company in any commercial commitments taken with suppliers.

**What is my role?**

You are directly reporting to the Head of Procurement of ALE.

As BD Procurement Team Leader, you are primarily accountable for ensuring that all procurement missions are delivered and achieved in a timely manner to support the activities of the Business Division you are in charge for. You will also manage and develop a portfolio of Electronic Manufacturing Services providers (EMS) and Original Design Manufacturers (ODM).

**What am I responsible for?**

As a team leader:

- You manage your team both in terms of performance management and people development
- You define goals and targets for your team in line with the Procurement organization and with internal stakeholder objectives,
- You elaborate the procurement strategy for one of the ALE Product Division, in terms of missions and valuable deliverables.
- You lead the relationships with internal business partners and key suppliers (EMS, ODM, OEM) at senior level.

Being accountable for the Procurement of one of the ALE Product Division as well as for the management and development of EMS and ODM portfolio, you drive:

- the supplier selection process for new projects, including by conducting audits.
- the negotiation of contracts, amendments and T&C with suppliers.
- the management and development of the business relationship with suppliers
- the continuous improvement of the suppliers’ performances.
- the escalations to EMS and ODM executive management,
- the identification of commercial risks and definition of the appropriate actions to mitigate the company’s exposure to risks associated with suppliers.
- the promotion of ALE procurement strategy and policies inside the organization.
- the contributing on project management for production transfers when needed.
- the proactive update to internal business partners on procurement strategy, supplier strategy, technology and market trends in the field of EMS and ODM.

**Am I the good person for this position?**
- Are you graduated from an Engineering school and ideally have a postgraduate diploma in business administration or economics?
- Do you have 5 to 10 years successful professional experience in the telecommunications industry or in the industry of electronic products and/or electronic manufacturing industry?

- He/she has excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
- He/she has strong negotiation and interpersonal skills;
- He/she has experience in supplier relationship management;
- He/she has experience in drafting and negotiation of contracts and agreements;
- He/she works in complex and/or ambiguous situations;
- He/she learns from experience and makes appropriate changes in behavior
