As a Regional Sales Manager at Pavemetrics Systems, you will leverage your industry experience and established network to drive revenue growth and expand our presence within the Europe and Africa rail and road sectors. In this key role, you will manage existing client relationships, identify emerging prospects, and capture new business opportunities to increase market share for Pavemetrics. If you have a proven track record in B2B sales, a passion for the rail sector, and the drive to make an impact, we want to hear from you.
As the regional sales manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute targeted territory plans, prioritizing high value leads and strategic opportunities within the rail sector.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring a high level of service, engagement, and long-term business development.
- Work closely with the Sr. Director of Global Sales to analyze sales performance data and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
- Provide valuable market intelligence to Pavemetrics Product Line Managers to inform product development and optimize our sales forecasting accuracy.
- Keep detailed records of prospects, sales activities, and customer interactions in the CRM system, ensuring accurate forecasting and sales pipeline visibility.
- Manage and mentor channel partners, ensuring alignment on quarterly Mutual Action Plans to drive joint success.
- Deliver compelling virtual and in-person presentations, meetings, and demos to prospects and customers.
- Travel 50%-70% of the time, meeting with customers and partners in person to drive results and strengthen relationships.
**What makes you a strong asset to our team**:
- B2B sales experience with a strong track record in the rail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of rail industry solutions and technologies, particularly related to inspection, maintenance, and operational efficiencies.
- Familiarity with NDT/NDE technologies, Vision/Optics systems, or similar technical solutions (an asset).
- Established network of contacts within the rail sector, with the ability to leverage relationships for business development.
- A diploma or equivalent in a technical or business-related field.
- Comfortable using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage pipeline and track sales progress.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Self-driven and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and developing long-lasting business relationships.
