The Loan & Private Debt team is part of the AXA IM Alts Structured Finance department (100 experts) which manages more than €50Bn in assets. The Structured Finance department is the part of the financial industry involved with non-traditional fixed income products that aim to target stable and predictable cash flows The Loans & Private Deb Team is dual based in New-York (12 people) and Paris (23 people). Within a loan market where Settlement is key to succeed, we need a Closer which will handle all post trades transactions : settlement of loans transactions under the primary and secondary market in US and Europe, management of warehouses, instruct the middle office regarding all fundings and operational aspects, be in charge of all tax topics, legal issues and due diligence review of credit documentation in order to assist the Portfolio Management team in their decision to invest in specific deals (revolving loans). The Closer will have to: - handle the settlement of primary and secondary market: take care of the total process until the funding (LMA Trade Confirmation, Transfer Certificate, closing), follow up with counterparties/ Agencies ; - handle the process of settlement on the RCF trades: Track and control any US RCF notices received and make sure that payment can be made on D day. Provide an analysis and recommendation to the Portfolio management team on specific RCF credit documentation - keep relationship with Third Parties (Virtus, ClearPar / IHS Markit, Trustees) and provide all information needed - be in charge of the resolution of any potential issue before and after the settlement of the trade with Statestreet team and trustees. - Cash management : be in relation with the middle office, send instructions, handle the cash level available for each portfolio, make a selection of trades to settle, handle the specific cash topics of warehouses - Raise and handle all tax and legal potential issues : Witholding tax, distressed trades, restructuration, equities received after a default... **Votre Profil** **Education/Qualifications** - Graduate Degree (Business School, Engineering School, University Master degree in Finance) **Experience** - Relevant experience in Middle Office/Front Support roles or Financial services industry experience ( 5-6 years Experience) **Skills** - Organized and able to work with short deadlines. - Relational and behavioral skills: ability to work in an international environment with a strong team spirit - Experience on settlement would be a plus. - Fluent in English. - Autonomous and capacity to work in team **A propos d'AXA** Le Groupe AXA est un leader mondial de l'assurance et de la gestion d'actifs, avec 160 000 collaborateurs au service de 105 millions de clients dans 62 pays.
