Located in our WW PS headquarter in Pont de Claix
- Grenoble, we are now looking for our Associate Director Project Management Office (PMO) to work closely with the BDM-PS strategic business leaders to meet key business process excellence and PMO complex project business objectives.

About the role

The Associate Director Project Management Office (PMO) works closely with the BDM-PS strategic business leaders to establish, drive and achieve key business objectives and reports to the BPE-PMO Senior Director.

As a part of the BPE & PMO Leadership Team, the successful leader works across the BDM-PS business to deliver the PMO objectives and works in partnership with other departments to ensure partnership and alignment. In this role, you are responsible for providing in its Portfolio & Project Management playground, strategic decision-making, leadership, planning, and prioritization including agility in effective and efficient use of resources to meet business process excellence and PMO complex project objectives.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure effective management of all projects in BD ensuring the right level of governance and delegation to the functions & plants.
- Build the portfolio Management structure & processes.
- Responsible for the creation and continuous improvement of a Project Portfolio Management approach within the organization.
- Achieve a sufficient level of competence & maturity in portfolio management across the platforms including analyzing gap and industry benchmarks to improve competence using the Maturity scale.
- Create the means of communication (dashboards, reports, reviews, etc) around portfolios.
- Ensure effective communication around the health and progress of the pipeline (such as project reviews, dashboards & metrics, issues & bottlenecks).
- Ensure timely planning and organization of project reviews, technical reviews, Gate reviews, and closure reviews
- Provides recommendations on the prioritization, sequencing, and resourcing of projects
- Maintain the PlanView quality of data.
- Ensure the use of GPMRS standardized standard processes, methodologies, tools, and templates (PMR, PMC, templates, PlanView).
- Empower cross-functional collaboration across the division, highlighting new ways of work and making project outcomes prevalent over functional interest. Find the right balance between functional and project priorities and constraints.
- Specify needs & steer make or buy analysis to make decisions on new tools' implementation.
- Accountable to Maintain existing tools.

About you

We are looking for a PMO or Portfolio Manager Director background with a strong track record in project management, creating strategic plans, and functional experience in business operations, manufacturing, business development, commercial, transactional process management, and shared services.

As a passionate PMO, you are comfortable in an international matrix environment and have experience of a large number of projects and transformation management where you have used project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Prince 2, PMP certified, or equivalent.

You are also an excellent communicator and leader with experience in leading complex project management teams with proven priority-setting skills. You lead a change approach including building programs and developing competencies across an organization and delivering project management training programs.

Besides the Medtech industry, we are open to all industries that are very mature in project portfolio management, such as the automotive industry.

An experience in R&D or quality department could be beneficial and strong IT skills would be a big plus (tools like power BI, power automate, database management).
