**The Director of **En**gineering **Role**

As the **Director of Engineering - **Qlik **Talend Cloud Management** Console**, you will be instrumental in leading a high-performing engineering team focused on delivering world-class cloud solutions. Your mission will be to align the engineering strategy with global business objectives, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of Qlik Talend Cloud Management Console.

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll partner with globally distributed teams to drive technical excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation. You will be a leader of leaders, fostering collaboration across regions, and shaping the engineering culture to achieve exceptional results.

**We’re looking for a teammate with**:
**Experience**:

- ** 10+ years** of experience in software engineering, cloud development, or a similar field.
- ** 5+ years** in a senior leadership role, managing managers or leading large, geographically distributed teams.
- Proven success in building and scaling cloud-based SaaS products in a complex, distributed environment.

**Skills**:

- ** Leadership and Team Development**: Strong ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- ** Strategic and Operational Vision**: Exceptional planning and execution skills with a focus on delivering complex projects in alignment with business goals.

**Technical Competency**:

- Expertise in designing, building, and managing **cloud-based systems** (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), with a focus on scalability, high availability, and security.
- Deep understanding of reliability, performance, and scalability challenges in large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in implementing **DevOps practices**, with a track record of reducing manual intervention through **automation** and improving operational efficiency.

**Collaboration & Communication**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Adept at bridging technical and business discussions to ensure alignment on objectives.
