**Location: Paris or Lyon**

We are looking to recruit a communications expert to join as a full-time communications manager for Statkraft France. In the role you will support Statkraft France’s management team and will be responsible for all communications and marketing activities in the country, including building brand awareness and raising our profile in France.

You will be part of an inspired, international communications team across Europe. We are committed to a carbon-neutral future and to delivering outstanding communications support to the business. You will report to the Vice President Communications based in Oslo.

**Your role**:

- You will deliver all communications and marketing services to the French team.
- You will proactively translate business needs, strategy and goals into communications priorities and ensure that these are addressed in the communications strategy for France
- You will provide strategic advice on communication and marketing topics to the country management
- You will plan and execute communications activities in close collaboration with colleagues working in public affairs, project communications and stakeholder management teams - as well as working closely with external consultants and agencies
- You will draft and/or edit briefing notes, press statements, presentations etc. needed to execute on communication plans
- You will ensure that French activities are highlighted in internal communications channels
- You will support the team on other ad hoc activities such as conferences, events and presentations.

**Qualifications**:
5+ years of experience in similar roles.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (fluency required)

An understanding of how to effectively communicate with community groups and the general public as well as the corporate target groups

Good experience in media relations

Collaborative, proactive and solution-oriented with attention to detail

A team player with strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills

Experience in website and social media management is an advantage

Experience from the French renewable industry is an advantage

University degree within a relevant field
