**The team**:
Part of the Client Services FP&A team, reporting to the FP&A manager for EMEA, and using established procedures and processes, you will take part into the analysis of financial data and variances against budget, forecast and prior year, the month-end closure processes, the preparation of budget and forecasts.
You will work closely with Operations as Business Partner on a dedicated portfolio.
**Your missions/What you’ll do ?**
Business partner for the operational leaders of a dedicated client/project/offer portfolio you will:
- provide variance analysis Actual versus Prior Year and Budget figures
- assist project management teams on revenue recognition topics and follow-up of financial KPIs by project
- participate in meetings with operational managers to provide insightful comments and analysis to help the business leaders improve business performance.
- be preparing monthly results presentations and presenting month-end results to operational leaders and produce meeting minutes and actions list follow-up
- work on revenue recognition and lead quarterly reviews with commercial and project management team to assess compliance with revenue recognition procedure
You will lead month-end & quarter-end activities and will:
- be strongly involved in month-end/quarter end and year-end closures processes
- ensure that accruals are booked according to company global standards
- check and ensure the quality and accuracy of accounting entries and data reported
You will also be part of plan & forecast and will:
- be responsible for preparing operational budget and headcount budget
- prepare presentation and present budget and forecast to operational leaders
- capture headcount budget assumptions during meetings with Operations and HR
- challenge actual and forecasted amounts and suggest improvement actions.
**Your profile/Who you are ?**
Master’s Degree in accounting or related finance discipline or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience (_including apprenticeship-internship_) in a Financial Planning an Analysis position ideally in a multicultural company with large global exposure
Experience in an IT/consulting/professional services company is a plus
Fluent in both English and French
CPA or equivalent is an asset
Strong knowledge of Excel, VBA and Sage could be a plus
Curiosity, Detailed oriented, Analytic thinking, Team player
