You join the Sustainable Transitions Directorate (DTD) of Ostrum AM as an ESG Strategist - Dispute and Social Issues Management Specialist. The DTD is attached to the General Management. Its main mission is to define and ensure the implementation of Ostrum AM’s strategy and policies in terms of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and ESG (Social Environment and Governance).

On a daily basis, your mission is to:

- Identify, analyse and monitor controversies in accordance with the three levels of controversy defined by Ostrum AM;
- Prepare and carry out the engagement actions with issuers affected by severe controversies in accordance with the escalation process defined by Ostrum AM;
- Respond to client requests for specific controversy analyses and conduct studies on issues/themes related to social issues/human rights;
- Develop sectoral engagement frameworks on social issues, especially in a perspective of promoting a just transition;
- Collaborate in the process of selection of providers and social indicators within investment strategies, ESG policies and regulatory requirements;
- Prepare, coordinate and participate in working groups, both internally and through local fora, including the Worst Offenders and Controversial Weapons Committees.

As the Dispute Management Officer, you participate in identifying, studying and managing critical issues related to our policies, including “Worst Offenders”, which violate international standards such as the UN Global Compact and the OECD Guiding Principles, seriously violating human rights, labour rights, the environment and business ethics. You are also involved in the monitoring of “Controversial Weapons”, such as cluster bombs and anti-personnel mines, to strengthen Ostrum AM’s position on social issues, With a particular focus on human rights and other key issues such as health.

**Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience**:

You have a higher education with ideally a specialization in finance/sustainable development or social sciences, and at least 2 years of experience in similar positions within a financial institution, consultancy, or a data provider or NGO.

You are proficient in:

- International standards in human rights, labour rights and business ethics;
- The Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good listening ability, you are:

- Recognized for your ability to work as a team and lead working groups;
- Appreciated for your ability to communicate effectively and for your argumentative skills.

You have a command of English at level B2.
