As the **Senior CMF Designer - Sportstyle Footwear M/W**, you will be responsible for creating the product's cosmetics and bringing it to life (in terms of **colours, materials, and finishes**) according to design strategy, marketing briefs, merchandising strategy, and Brand message, considering the technical and economic aspects of production (quality, costs, deadlines). Your responsibilities include: - Research, analyze and translate global, emerging, cultural, and sporting trends into seasonal stories and themes applied to Colours, Materials and Finishes in order to: - Build seasonal themes, capsules, and limited editions, their harmonies and colour palettes. - Participate in the creation of relevant assortments, colouring and developing colour/colour blocking tactics for brand new products. - Suggest solutions for materials, ornaments/trims (zips, zip pulls, eyelets, etc.) and finishes. - Write and update colour data sheets ("colourways") for products and posters using dedicated software. - Participate in and consolidate the overall colour strategy. Monitor the feasibility of each project, from colouring to development. - Consolidate and develop the material toolbox dedicated to the assigned ranges, working with the Materials team to find materials and finishes that are not only operational but also innovative, advanced, and inspiring. - Participate in project groups, collaborating with CMF teams, design, marketing, merchandising, development, and brand teams. **Qualifications** Essential Skills & Experience** - You have 5+ years of professional experience in colour and materials design processes in footwear. - You are a creative person, possessing advanced design skills and deep understanding of colour psychology. - High level of colour acuity. You have a creative eye and are able to dissociate your personal preferences from your work, bringing your vision and ideas into product. - Awareness of current and emerging design trends. - Managing complex projects autonomously. **Essential Competencies** - ** Innovation**: You create entirely new products from multiple inputs, integrating a broad range of ideas and concepts from across multiple industries to develop new products, opportunities and solutions. - ** Communication**: You utilize inter-personal skills to support a positive work environment; interpreting and reacting positively to emotional cues, building effective relationships. You are a active listener and possess good emotional intelligence to be able to adapt style accordingly to different circumstances and audiences. - ** Collaboration**: You have the ability to work with peers and partners to drive results and improve performance. You model teamwork, volunteer help or ideas to benefit colleagues and share best practices across business units or functions **Desired Qualifications** - ** Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design preferred. - ** Language**: Fluent in English, French a plus. - ** IT**: Advanced technical proficiency with Adobe suite design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Substance 3D. **Additional Information** Full-Time, Permanent Position.
