The Directorate for Public Governance (GOV) works to help governments at all levels design and implement strategic, evidence-based and innovative policies to strengthen public governance, respond effectively to diverse and disruptive economic, social and environmental challenges and deliver on governments’ commitments to citizens. We provide a forum for policy dialogue and exchange, common standards and principles, comparative international data and analysis to support innovation and reform across the OECD. GOV supports countries to promote good governance and democracy through more strategic, agile and action-oriented public sectors that improve the functioning of national economies and support growth. It achieves these objectives by working to help governments at all levels design and implement strategic, evidence-based and innovative policies to strengthen public governance, trust in government and democracy, respond effectively to diverse and disruptive economic, social and environmental challenges and deliver on government’s commitments to citizens.

Within GOV, the **Global Partnerships, Inclusion, and Justice Division (GOV/GPIJ)** works with governments, international organisations, civil society and other stakeholders to design, implement and monitor coherent and integrated policies for sustainable development, based on international standards.

The division focuses on three key areas:

- ** Global Partnerships** aims to strengthen global engagement through the implementation of the MENA Governance Programme and the Recommendation on Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development. This involves supporting countries in building institutional mechanisms to design, implement, and monitor integrated policies across economic, social, and environmental sectors, driving progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- ** Justice Systems** assist member and partner countries in developing evidence-based, people-centered justice systems that promote inclusive growth, democratic resilience, and the rule of law. This includes advancing the implementation of the Recommendation on Access to Justice and People-Centered Justice Systems, fostering justice systems aligned with these principles.
- ** Inclusion** supports gender-sensitive public governance processes, policies, and services, promoting effective and inclusive public institutions through the Recommendation on Gender Equality in Public Life. It also empowers youth to actively participate in public life and addresses their unique needs and aspirations through the Recommendation on Creating Better Opportunities for Young People, ensuring no one is left behind.

GPIJ is looking for Senior Policy Analysts to support the work programme of the Division in the three key areas and carry out the responsibilities below. They will report to the Head of the Division. The position requires regular travel to OECD Member and non-Member countries.
**Job Description** Main Responsibilities**

Coordination and Management
- Oversee and manage diverse teams, providing strategic guidance, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
- Lead the coordination and development of frameworks and measurement tools for international indicators relevant to thematic priorities, in the areas of justice, gender, youth, inclusion, policy coherence and public governance in MENA and Africa.
- Oversee mapping and analysis of existing measurement, monitoring, and reporting efforts, collaborating with key international partners in the key focus areas.
- Contribute to the development of analytical frameworks and methodological approaches across thematic areas.
- Manage data collection processes from member and partner countries, ensuring quality and relevance of action and policy indicators.

Drafting, Policy Recommendations and Project Management
- Lead the development of comprehensive reports, incorporating partner contributions, data analysis, trends identification, and targeted policy recommendations.
