CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.
CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.
**THE ROLE**:
Working in our Newbuilding entity, as a Project manager you will report directly to the Newbuilding Director.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**You shall**:
Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
Issue comment on drawings for approval in accordance with shipbuilding contract;
Seek for assistance or experts’ opinions for specific drawings;
**Follow up**:
drawing approval and work progress for you project;
extra and credit, specification deviations;
Provide Pre-delivery purchaser with necessary information to draw the list of initial stores and spare parts;
Manage vessel’s delivery;
Ensure specifications approval;
Train New Building Superintendents.
**PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
You are an engineer graduate, naval architect or seafarer;
You have a succesful experience as a Newbuilding Superintendent for 2 years or equivalent.
Fluency in English and professional proficiency in French
Good project management skills; analytical skills, result oriented;
Technical knowledge of vessel design
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills;
Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment;
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible to change priorities;
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
