The Office directly reports to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and makes recommendations to portfolio managers, based on actual situation, and expected changes in issuer’s ESG quality.
The Sustainable Investment Office is responsible for the sustainable investment policy of SCOR IP. The Office:
- maintains consistency with the entity’s sustainable investment policy,
- integrates sustainability in products’ investment strategies,
- embodies sustainability within the asset manager entity.
The Office proactively identifies new ESG trends and changes in the regulatory landscape and is responsible of integrating them, if necessary, in the sustainable investment policy of SCOR IP.
The team consists of five members, the Sustainable Investment Officer, two Sustainable Investment Analysts and two interns from top tier business schools. Both interns will be working closely with every member of the Sustainable Investment Office.
The intern will directly report to the Sustainable Investment Officer. They will assist the team in all their sustainable duties:
- performing extra-financial analyses of potential investments
- defining ESG criteria and methodology
- reporting on regulations and adapting strategies to sectors
- integrating sustainability within funds and mandates
- researching and informing SCOR IP on updates in sustainable finance
- processing and analysing portfolios’ ESG data.
The intern will also assist the team with the preparation and production of presentations. Finally, the intern will participate to webinars and/or conferences linked with sustainable finance.
You are currently in a Top tier Business or Engineering School with a Finance expertise. The position requires the following:
- Ability to think logically
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills in sustainable finance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English & French)
- Flexibility and Adaptability are a must due to the important variety of tasks
- Advanced computer skills (Excel & Powerpoint)
- Background/Interest for sustainability is needed.
