Dashlane is looking for an experienced technical leader with deep knowledge in B2B SaaS and security to join as our VP, Engineering.

We are a product-driven organization, where the VP, Engineering and their team of software engineers play a critical role in the delivery of the Dashlane product, to offer the best of security and productivity for organizations and end-users.

**About the role**

As a VP Engineering, you will be a key leader of the engineering team, commited to building the best online identity and security app. You will be part of an organization of people passionate about delivering a product customers love and use everyday.

This is a distributed team of 100 engineers, based mostly in France, Portugal and US. In this role, you will report to our Chief Technology Officer and you will partner closely with other engineering leaders, along with with all stakeholders across the organization (People, Product, Marketing, Finance, etc.).

Dashlane is available on mobile (Android, iOS) as well as a browser extension. Our product leverages machine learning as well as advanced security capabilities, such as confidential computing.

You will be focused on execution and ensuring that the engineering organization runs smoothly and efficiently and can deliver the highest level of excellence and quality for our customers.

Your **leadership **is geared toward **action **and finding **innovative solutions** with your team to optimize our technical systems and provide maximum value and outcome for our customers and our business.

You will be accountable for running a high-performing team: from recruitment to onboarding and training, feedback management, developing skills and growing the teams, taking care of the engagement and motivation of all team members.

**Location**

This role can be based either in person at our Paris or Lisbon offices, or work remotely anywhere in our 2 countries. We expect regular presence in office.

**At Dashlane you will**:

- Ensure that our organization is optimized for execution and performance of delivery
- Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the Engineering team in alignment with Dashlane strategy
- Be accountable for the delivery and quality of our product
- Support a technology strategy that ensures we stay innovative in our field
- Shape an engineering culture that is innovative, accountable, secure, with high engagement and psychological safety
- Represent Dashlane Engineering team internally, with regular interactions with executives and major internal stakeholders, and externally by being a public thought leader

**Requirements**:

- 15+ years of experience, including proven experience in technical leadership roles (usually +5 years)
- 5+ years in the space of B2B SaaS, with a proven track records of delivering for B2B organizations
- 5+ years operating in the field of security
- Fluency in English
