**Sales Engineer (SE)**

The Sales Engineer (SE) ensures that partners maintain an appropriate level of technical knowledge. The SE ensures that their assigned partners are certified to a level where they can independently support sales and provide post-sales technical support related to WithSecure products in day-to-day business. They assist partners with more complex matters as needed.

The Sales Engineer is involved in sales opportunities from lead qualification to closing for new business. In customer experience engagements, they act independently as a liaison with the technical personnel of large end users. They also support sales efforts that require local presence for renewals or cross-/upsell cases.

Throughout the year, the SE participates in partner events, webinars, and trade shows, representing the company and delivering presentations to various audiences.

As Sales Engineers are in constant contact with customers, they are expected to provide feedback and ideas to product management, the customer experience team, and the global SE community.

This position is based in the western region of France, covering Brittany, Normandy, and Pays de la Loire, ensuring close proximity to local partners and customers. The SE will work closely with a Regional Sales Manager and may also contribute to various projects aimed at enhancing the performance of the France team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain partners’ technical knowledge at an appropriate level
- Assist partners with complex technical projects as needed
- Participate in sales opportunities from lead qualification to closing for new business
- Support sales efforts requiring local presence for renewals or cross-/upsell cases
- Provide feedback and ideas to product management and the customer experience team
- Participate in partner events, webinars, and trade shows

**What are we looking for?**
- ** Technical expertise**: Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts related to WithSecure solutions (XDR, ITDR, Exposure Management, MDR, and other managed services)
- ** Commercial aptitude**: A strong commercial sense, enabling the SE to effectively engage in sales activities and support business growth (direct and channel sales)
- ** Problem-solving abilities**: Proficiency in assisting partners with complex technical issues and delivering effective solutions
- ** Communication skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ** Feedback and innovation**: Ability to gather customer feedback and provide valuable insights for continuous improvement

**Bonus points**
- Experience in blue team or red team activities, involving defensive and offensive cybersecurity practices
