**Our team and mission**
Ariane 6 Future Missions section carries out launch system tasks in support of the development of Ariane 6, including complementary developments.Moreover, the section supports foresight on space transportation systems as necessary to serve the implementation of launch services. Finally, it supports mission analysis and design.- **Field(s) of activity/research for the traineeship**
The activity mainly consists of mission analysis in the field of trajectory optimisation and performance assessment for future Ariane 6 missions.These studies will be conducted with an ESA internal tool that will require a learning phase. Associated tasks such as maintaining the launcher database, assessing flight reserves and consumed mass derivatives and analysing safety constraints will also be an important part of the activities.Other areas of mission analysis such as upper part accommodation studies or separation analyses may also be part of the activities as needed.**Technical competencies**

You should have just completed, or be in the final year of your master’s degree in space engineering.**Additional requirements**
You should have good interpersonal and communication skills and should be able to work in a multicultural environment, both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience of working in international teams can be considered an asset.
