R&d Lab IT Business Analyst

**Job Description Summary**: The main mission of this role consists in leading and driving BDM-PS R&D Lab IT projects related to BDM-PS Business Functions IT demands in line with BDX and BDM-PS strategies. As such, the main responsibilities span from supporting BDM-PS IT Global portfolio to supporting specific projects and actions, in collaboration with various functional (Business and IT) and regional stakeholders.

This position reports to the TGS Site Service & Solutions organization, with a dotted line to the local TGS business partner team, based in Pont-de-Claix (France).

The **BDM-PS Global R&D Lab IT Business Analyst / Project Leader** will
- Plan and Lead assigned R&D Lab IT related projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to BD Standard & Methodology
- Continuously seek to engage Business Project Stakeholders throughout Project Lifecycle
- Pro-actively identify project risks, develop mitigation plan accordingly.
- Ensure adequate R&D Lab infrastructure design according to BDx TGS standards.
- Manage issues in a calm manner.
- Act as the point of contact between BDM-PS R&D Lab of all sites & TGS organization (e.g. Site Services Delivery, On Site Support teams, TGS global network & architects SMEs)
- Be the key point of contact for BDM - PS R&D Lab function and understand R&D strategy.
- Contribute to grow R&D TGS network with R&D Labs Business partner.
- Influence global design & best practices.
- Communicate and report on project activity and all IT supporting actions under your responsibility.
- Ensure robust Production Support Model & CI program are defined & executed to plan.
- Capture Demand, report to IT Management and support, drive and execute BDM -PS IT Business projects in total alignment with BDM - PS Business KBO and Strategic Imperatives.
- Provide regular reporting to BDM-PS TGS Business Partner and Business Leadership
- Ensure the sustainability of BDM - PS R&D technology platforms in alignment with the Collaboration CoE strategy.

**Primary Responsibilities will include**:

- Coordination of incident and service requests for hardware and software owned by the business.
- Maintain an up-to-date Lab asset inventory.
- Planview project management, project shaping and board submission.
- Project coordination with TGS partners, the business and approved vendors.
- Schedule Risk Assessments, ensure business and validation team connectivity.
- Partner with vendors, Plant IT and cores areas of the business to define the technology path.
- Support 4 Sites - Pont-de-Claix, Franklin Lakes, Cuautitlán, and Dublin.
- Support 350 associates and 600 instruments.

**Skill Set & Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in an IT position or in a position with a leading role in systems implementation.
- Proven experience capturing requirements, supporting IT activities, and executing IT projects in a Local / Regional or Global context.
- Proven experience working with multi-cultural teams and cross functional teams.
- Proven experience supporting IT systems in a global context.
- Experience providing efficient & appropriate support model on IT implemented Systems & Platforms
- Experience in implementing and managing Issue handling processes.
- Knowledge of IT project portfolio management support
- Basic knowledge of IT validation
- Strong Customer focus.
- English, French is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and data integrity concept is a plus.
- Project management and methodology knowledge.
- Knowledge of IT Support management practices.
- Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and work in multi-cultural and matrix environment.
- Proactive and takes initiative, autonomous and sets priorities.
- Excellent communications and collaborations skills, team player.
- Experience of working through systems (design practices, processes, and procedures).
- Ability to accurately report and communicate on IT activities.
- International company experience is a plus.
