You'll be instrumental in guiding over 150 enterprise software companies in their AI journey, pushing the envelope of AI potential and unveiling cutting-edge methodologies.

Embracing an AI-centric mindset, this role empowers a solo expert to achieve feats that would typically require a team of ten or more. You'll be at the helm of researching and crafting pioneering solutions and architectures that challenge the status quo in AI. Free from bureaucratic constraints, you'll channel your energy entirely into exploring AI's vast possibilities.

Your responsibilities will include coding prototypes, conducting experiments, and generating comprehensive technical content for engineering teams' use. Unlike typical research that fades into obscurity, your work will directly influence the construction and deployment of AI systems by companies.

**What you will be doing**
- Developing code to evaluate and benchmark AI tools and capabilities
- Creating prototypes to assess technical constraints
- Designing automated frameworks for systematic tool analysis
- Constructing proof-of-concept integrations to validate vendor claims
- Documenting daily technical research based on firsthand testing
- Publishing daily blog entries and social media updates to share findings
- Formulating and supporting provocative viewpoints on AI implementation
- Building a substantial following of 50K+ tech professionals who value your expertise

**What you will NOT be doing**
- Overseeing teams or managing roadmaps
- Drafting high-level strategic documents
- Developing production systems
- Enduring countless meetings
- Writing reports that go unused

**Key Responsibilities**

Generate authoritative technical research and implementation strategies that empower portfolio companies to effectively leverage AI and sustain a competitive edge in AI adoption.
- Comprehensive knowledge of LLM architectures, capabilities, and limitations
- Practical experience in prompt engineering and model assessment
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Experience in building automated testing and benchmarking systems
- Demonstrated ability to quickly prototype and evaluate new technologies
- Proven record of clear technical writing and public engagement
- Excellent analytical skills to discern patterns and derive actionable insights
- Confidence in forming and advocating for bold technical positions
