This new activity enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services, thus reenforcing our strategic position with our global customers.
Already equipped with a fleet of 6x long-haul aircraft (4x A330-200F and 2x B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO is on an ambitious mission to continue to grow its current fleet with the acquisition of new freighters.
CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world’s first airline to launch and operate this state of the art cargo aircraft.
MISSION
The CCAC Purchasing Manager reports to the Finance Department and provides cross-functional support to all CCAC departments. He/she also ensures the follow-up of the purchasing policy with the Group's purchasing department.
**His/her main missions are the following**:
- To understand the general strategy of CCAC and the objectives defined by the COMEX and to implement CCAC's acquisition policy in terms of costs, quality and volume.
- Ensure the consistency of CCAC's acquisition procedures with those of the CMA CGM group.
- Analyze the needs of CCAC's business departments and translate them into quantitative and qualitative objectives.
- Search for sources of cost reduction and participate with the different departments in cost reduction programs with the support of the Management Control.
- Ensure economic and technological watch to keep abreast of market developments
RESPONSABILITIES
**The main responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager are to**:
- Intervene in support of the Department Directors on invitations to tender or negotiations.
- Take direct responsibility for all negotiations for certain groups of products or services.
- Ensure the follow-up of the negotiation files / calls for tenders in progress.
- Draft or validate contracts and framework agreements with the help of the legal department.
- Ensure compliance with the supplier listing program in accordance with CMA CGM Group’s procedures.
- Supervise the management of the suppliers’ databases.
- Ensure that the negotiated contractual conditions are met.
- Ensure, with the support of the Management Control, the issuance and follow-up of Purchase Orders.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Knowledge of CMA CGM’s tendering procedures to adapt them to CCAC, if necessary, with the Group Purchasing Department’s validation.
Knowledge of argumentation and convincing techniques regarding your interlocutors and knowledge of risk evaluation.
Fluency in English and knowledge of customs regulations (in an international context).
This position is based in Marseille.
