The Peninsula houses 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites. Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Paris is seeking a Director of Events.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Proactively organise banquet and events in the hotel
- Supervision & management of the event team
- Adhere to The Peninsula Paris standards and become one of our ambassador
- Getting new banqueting leads (to be given to the events team)

**General requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to anticipate their customers’ needs
- Fluent both in English and French - a third language is appreciated
- 5 years as Events Manager
- Well organized, highly detailed and with a sense of urgency and self-motivation
- Previous experience in a hotel of a similar standing
- Thorough knowledge in costing and pricing of food and beverage items
