Reporting to Marketing, Revenue Mgt and Customer Experience Director.
**Main objectives**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications plan to support and facilitate cultural change within Europcar France.
- Strengthen the employer brand to attract and retain top talent through strategic communication and collaboration with HR.
- Oversee press relations, build strong media connections, and manage corporate events and sponsorships to promote Europcar’s public image and business goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Internal Communications**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications plan in interaction with HR and various other functional departments (ie : operations, marketing, transformation, etc)
- Coordinate communication efforts across departments to ensure consistent messaging.
- Create engaging content for internal newsletters and other communication platforms.
- Organise internal events and activities to foster employee engagement and a positive work culture.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and adjust as needed.
- ** Employer Branding**:
- Enhance Europcar France’s employer brand to attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with HR to create compelling employer branding content for recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Manage social media channels to promote the company culture and career opportunities.
- Develop partnerships with educational institutions and industry organizations to build a talent pipeline.
- ** External Communications**:
- Manage and execute external communication strategies to enhance the company’s public image.
- Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and press relations.
- Prepare interviews for speeches and organise media trainings to comex members
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Write and distribute press releases, manage media briefings, coordinate & prepare interviews.
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to senior management.
- ** Events and Sponsorship**:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events and sponsorships to promote the Europcar & Goldcar brands,for B2C and B2B audiences.
- Identify and manage opportunities for event participation and sponsorship that align with company objectives.
- Oversee the logistics of events, including vendor management, budget planning, and on-site coordination.
- Evaluate the success of events and sponsorship activities and provide recommendations for improvement to internal stakeholders and head of functions.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure events and sponsorships support broader business goals.
**PERSONAL PROFILE OF POSITION HOLDER**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal and external communications, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Proven experience in managing press relations and a strong network in the journalism industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving..
- Clear communicator with the aptitude to gain trust and confidence
- Able to work unsupervised and to successfully complete tasks within tight deadlines.
- Willingness to stay highly informed about the market and any potential changes
**COMPETENCES**:
- Languages: Excellent written and oral communications skills in French & English (mandatory)
- Able to work in complex international / local organisation
- Experience in cultural change management and employer branding.
- Knowledge of the automotive or transportation industry.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media management.
- Experience in planning and executing corporate events and managing sponsorships.
