Senior Subsea Engineer

As a member of our ABL France team, you will contribute your project management skills and maritime technical expertise to subsea design, construction, and installation projects. Your role may involve supporting Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) or Owner Engineering assignments. You’ll be responsible for reviewing and approving analyses and procedures related to loading and transport operations, lifting activities, and offshore installations, particularly those involving pipelines, umbilicals, flowlines, sea-fastening, mooring systems, and more.

**What will you be doing?**

- Carry out calculations or analyses for transportation, heavy lifting, and installation scopes of work.
- Review and comment on technical documents, design reviews, risk assessments, calculations, and procedures on projects.
- Be a technical reference point during the execution phase of projects and provide support to on-site engineers.
- Identify and brief engineers who will be deployed onshore or offshore.
- Provide support to colleagues and other technical departments across ABL Group when needed.
- Partner with our clients and your colleagues to ensure that our client projects run smoothly.
- Deliver projects for our clients in accordance with agreed customer objectives and service level agreements and timeframes.
- Travel to site to undertake Marine Warranty Surveys (MWS) and inspections.
- Prepare monthly monitoring reports for project for our clients and internal management.
- Contribute to business development activities to promote ABL Group.
- Work on the production of tenders for new business and collaborate with ABL Group stakeholders to help develop our future business strategy.
- Ensure that ABL Group’s HSEQ rules and procedures are always followed.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to other ABL Group employees.

**What are we looking for?**

Ideally, you will proven experience working as an Engineer on subsea transport, lifting and installation projects. More specifically, we are looking for the following:

- Minimum 5 years’ worth of relevant industry experience, with exposure to method or installation engineering.
- Knowledge and exposure to Marine Warranty Surveys (MWS) is beneficial.
- Proven experience of undertaking offshore assignments. If you hold a valid BOSIET, GWO or HUET then this is beneficial.
- Fluent in English.
