Scientific Support Specialist, Immunology

**Job Description Summary**:
You must be a master multi-tasker with excellent communication abilities, continuous learning mindset to expand scientific knowledge, and an eye for detail. These skills will be used to provide effective product and scientific support through direct customer communications. You will also develop supportive resources and deliver training programs, which are integral to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be the voice of customers, reporting customer needs and feedback on services and products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Respond to technically complex customer inquiries within a scientific program portfolio. May also provide support to general customer inquiries on the entire STEMCELL portfolio
- Contribute to and maintain the STEMCELL knowledge platform
- Report and represent customers needs & feedback within a departmental or cross-departmental team
- Troubleshoot experimental design for product optimization and solutions
- Network with internal and external personnel in your own area of expertise
- Provide laboratory training to customers and Sales staff as part of STEMCELL’s Education Programs
- Design and develop internal and external educational content and training programs

Knowledge and Qualifications
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or a Ph.D., in Immunology
- Proficiency in a broad range of laboratory techniques and fundamentals, with preference for Flow cytometry, cell separation & cell analysis
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with experience communicating high level scientific concepts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team, while managing and delivering on multiple activities and deadlines
- Fluency in English is required, fluency in French would be an asset
