The Role
STARLIMS is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager. The SHRM is responsible for supporting our international operations in EMEA through the provision of policy advice/guidance and technical assistance on all aspects of human resources, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. S/he will also act as first contact for all employment matters, do troubleshooting and work in partnership with other units in HR to provide timely response and proactive advice to clients. Conduct HR training for staff, as necessary. This also includes championing On-boarding and Equity and Diversity (GED) initiatives and goals in our HR practices. This role will report to the CHRO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
- Orient new managers to the recruitment process and provide them with recruitment tools and resources.
2. Performance & Talent Management
- Help drive performance to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet. Support managers and staff in understanding and adhering to performance planning, monitoring, and appraisals. Assist in the performance and assessment process and provide required leader training as needed throughout the year in partnership with the Chief HR Officer and Director of Human Resources.
- Orient new managers to our Performance Management and Talent Management processes, while providing them with tools and ongoing support.
3. Employee Relations
- Provide expert advice and coaching to employees when appropriate. Guide managers through complex employee relations’ issues. Ensure that all employee matters are handled with consistency and fairness without discrimination. Conduct internal investigations and prepare all required documentation when necessary. Respond to escalated client inquiries.
- Provide assistance to employees on HR inquiries, identify and discuss any critical matters with the Chief HR Officer and Director of Human Resources.
- Assist in developing and/or administering HR programs, procedures, policies, and guidelines to help align the staff with company goals and objectives.
- Support the region’s human resource operations and partner with external HR Resources as needed.
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits on grading jobs.
- Prepare Workforce Now actions for internal staff movements/changes and new hires.
- Conduct exit interviews where necessary.
**Required Skills**:
- University degree in Business Administration (with an emphasis on Human Resources) or Social Sciences.
- 3-5 years relevant experience with at least three in Human Resources.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), applicant tracking & performance management systems.
- Willingness to travel.
- Comprehensive understanding of the link between HR and business strategy.
- Significant knowledge of HR policies and practices.
- Work remote and on a virtual team. Effective team player.
- Strong consulting and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate both large and small groups and deal effectively with staff at all levels.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Experience required
- Experienced high caliber and values-driven HR profession adept at in working in a global and fast paced environment.
- Strong track record of collaboration and team working.
- Astute judgement where HR decisions are central to resolving employee and business challenges.
- Must be a master of multi-tasking and highly effective execution of work products.
- Analytical and detailed and process centric is a must.

Pay: 37,278.73€ - 73,097.63€ per year
