Throughout Continental Europe see great opportunity to expand our markets, growing the company and continuing to build a local presence in many more countries. To support this, we are currently looking for a Commercial Director in France.

This position will be based in our Paris office with a hybrid schedule that has the option of working two days remotely each week.

Role Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts. You will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders and colleagues through out France, while working in partnership with international and global colleagues.

The goal is to promote and expand the company’s commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.

Key Accountabilities:

- Drive market engagement:

- generate profitable new business and cross selling opportunities
- build a structured and integrated view of the pipeline and sale funnel
- Balance retention
- Client and broker engagement
- Monthly and quarterly business review
- Ensure presence and involvement at key industry event, roadshows
- Build and maintain brand recognition
- Empower our organisation:

- Implement and execute Broker, client and overall Go-to market strategies
- Map and communicate capabilities and risk appetite
- Manage distribution mix with GWP production aligned with risk appetite
- Elaborate a common language and shared practices
- Advance our business and distribution analytics (Key brokers GWP aspiration, UW KPI, NPS, voice of the client survey, Weekly/montly successes)
- Advance our market intelligence capabilities (addressable market, competitors analisis)
- Serve our trading partners:

- UW and claims animation and support, fostering an environment of collaboration, performance and accountability
- Broker appointment process and agreements management
- Spearhead or contribute to transversal initiatives (Claims promise, credit control, primary, portfolio solution, lead and Multinational strategies

Professional Experience:

- Proven experience as a Commercial Director or other relevant role within the Insurance market with knowledge of the markets across France
- Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
