As Sales Manager for Systems Sales Division, you will serve as a trusted Business Partner to our business management team to increase organisational efficiency and to inspire high performance culture. Our Sales Manager Functional team is a very professional yet comfortable group to work in. You will be able to utilise your expertise in various strategic projects and to execute them with the constant support from the team. **Responsibilities**:
**Main missions**:
- Implementation & execution of the corporate strategies transmitted by the General Manager of the System Sales Division.
- Development and management of sales activities required to achieve growth objectives and income set by WATERS Corporation.
- Achieving Country quarterly and annual targets through accurate and reliable forecasting activities and best in class funnel management.
- Responsible to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction/loyalty.
- Building a strong, motivated team through management and personal development of its members.
This position includes the functions detailed below:
**Develop and optimize the Business of System Sales in France**
- Achieve quarterly and annual plan for orders and sales for the geography assigned.
- Define local Commercial Strategy and tactics through sales activities within the territory and ensure timely and high-quality sales reporting like leads funnel and forecast, business reviews using Company’s tools and software.
- Define the commercial objectives of his team and manage the productivity of sales representatives. Ensure the permanent optimization of qualitative/quantitative indicators to guarantee the development of turnover.
- Participate in the development of team's Action Plans, validate them and ensure their proper execution while ensuring that the company's commercial strategy is an integral part of these plans.
- Work in close collaboration with Demand Generation team to develop and execute with Insides Sales, the promotional activities appropriate to the dynamics of the territory. Evaluate their impact and propose corrective actions if necessary.
- Negotiate with the purchasing departments of Strategic accounts.
- Follow up on prospecting activities, field visits and ongoing business carried out by the members of his team in order to optimize the coverage of the territory.
- Use the company's various tools in terms of training, customer documentation, sales support.
- Always ensure highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues, if necessary, to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible.
- Act as a proactive member of the leadership team in South Europe.
**Management of the Sales Team**
- Lead, motivate, coach and develop a team of Account Managers and Sales Support teammates.
- Act as a “multiplier” manager, ensure individual development plan for each member of the team with regular coaching activities.
- Implement the tools and means necessaries for the success of the team and ensure that whole team members are provided with specifically training for their individual development.
- Following up of the activities on a regular basis and ensure the quality of the teams' skills.
- Ensure continuity in the department's activities when employees are absent.
- Assess the existing sales organization and determine the optimal organizational design, strategic direction and tactical implementation necessary to meet the revenue and growth goals.
- Ensure excellent internal communication with the other divisions: Consumable Sales, Laboratory, Customer Service, Finance and Administration and the European structure in order to exchange, with all these departments, the information necessary for the development of the business and the satisfaction of our customers.
