However, the majority of these investors still rely on tools such as Excel spreadsheets to manage their portfolios. Edda has been developed to provide the market with fit for purpose technology bringing efficiency, transparency and safety to the industry, from the earliest days of deal selecting through to portfolio management and exits.
Most tools in the market are built for big private equity companies and often use legacy technology. At Edda, we see that these tools need to adapt to a rapidly changing market. When you have different teams using different softwares working in conjunction, time is wasted through inefficiencies as the various technologies aren't compatible. This means there is an increased risk of losing data, there is a delay for retrieving information, communication becomes complicated and you lose sight of the bigger picture.

Join Edda and embark on an exciting journey as an Intern - Right Hand of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in our Paris office in the 9th arrondissement
As the COO's right-hand person, you'll work on exciting projects that require close collaboration with all departments. You'll have a unique opportunity to be directly involved in strategic decision-making and gain exposure to cross-functional projects.
**During your 6-month internship, you will have the chance to**:
- Own and lead special projects from start to finish
- Support with employer branding, team-building, and culture-building activities
- Optimize company processes to improve efficiency and streamline operations
- Conduct research to gain a better understanding of our target audience and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Contribute to building and updating strategic benchmark analyses, providing valuable insights for the company's growth
- Collaborate with the team to increase efficiency and improve ways of working
**You may be a fit for this role if you have**:
We are looking for someone who doesn't fear challenges and is looking to have a significant impact on the company's growth.
- Master's degree student in business, management, or a related field (final cycle - M1 or M2)
- Motivated to join the startup ecosystem with a keen interest in tech and/or finance
- Experience or strong interest in the investment industry
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented with an understanding of the SaaS business model
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-starting, autonomous, and proactive individual with a team spirit
