We are seeking a Customer Account Manager (CAM) with program responsibilities for the Future of Propulsion collaboration between GE Aerospace and Airbus, including CFM. This role involves liaising across various functions (program, procurement, engineering, strategy, supply chain) within the matrix organization to ensure customer satisfaction, timely issue resolution, and priority alignment to meet business targets.
**Key Responsibilities**: In this role you will utilize your customer facing experience and technical & program management expertise to act as the legitimate representative of GE Aerospace at Airbus. As such you will collect and share the Voice Of Customer within GE Aerospace and leverage triangulated intelligence to influence the business strategy and priority calls at senior leadership level.
You will also serve as the Customer advocate within GE Aerospace, addressing the pain-points and lining up proper GE stakeholders depending on the asks and implementing relevant operating cadence.
- Maintain relationships with Strategic Procurement, Product Strategy, Future Programs, Chief Engineering, Marketing, Global Market Forecast, and Communication at Airbus Commercial Aircrafts, as well as other relevant departments.
- Monitor the health of the relationship with Airbus, ensuring counterparts are well-connected and aligned on shared priorities.
- Oversee the CFM/Airbus engagement plan, staying updated on key topics and messages, and attending meetings and workshops as necessary.
- Facilitate GE-CFM/Airbus meetings, including setting agendas, delivering key messages, issuing minutes, and holding individuals accountable for actions.
- Coordinate with the GE team at Airbus to ensure alignment with account priorities.
- Represent GE Future of Propulsion programs in local France meetings and workshops, ensuring program plans and milestones are acknowledged.
- Identify and communicate any program timing or priority clashes with Airbus, offering recommendations for adjustments.
- Contribute to and drive the closure of new collaboration contracts or amendments with Airbus, coordinating with GE Program owners.
- Assist GE Program managers with the execution of agreements related to assigned Future of Propulsion programs.
- Identify and escalate cultural or local misunderstandings that may impact program milestones, providing recommendations for resolution.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in customer account management, program management, or a related role within the aerospace industry.
- Proven experience working with major aerospace customers and demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of aerospace propulsion systems and related technologies.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken, is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support customer engagements and program requirements.
