RaySearch France sells, trains and supports users in radio-oncology and proton centers and works closely with RaySearch's global service organization. We are now looking for a Physics Specialist to strengthen our French team and support our continued development in France, Switzerland and Maghreb.
**About the position**:
In this position you will be part of our dedicated global service team that is responsible for installation, support and education of our customers and distributors. Application support is provided both at the client sites and remotely.
We are looking for a team member to take care of the Physics Support Process for current and future customers. This will involve direct contact with our customers and many trips to the territories covered by RaySearch France but also in Europe and occasionally to other countries.
**Your main tasks**:
- Take active part to various projects for RaySearch
- Play a crucial role in the future development of RaySearch's solutions from a medical physicist perspective
- Support sales team during sales operations such as on-site demonstration or congress event
- Participate to the European Customer Support Queue Organization
- Solve customer problems and collaborate with users and various RaySearch Support teams
- Train customers in our training centers and on customers' sites to model photon, electron and proton beams
- Anticipate, identify and understand customer needs and maintain good relationships with users and co-workers
In this position you will work from home, based in France, but frequent travels is required in the assigned areas.
**Your profile**:
We are looking for a Physics Specialist with a practical understanding of radiation therapy, interaction of ionizing radiation and particle therapy.
In order to be successful in this position you need to:
- Enjoy working in an international environment
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit,
- Desire to break down borders in new markets,
- Work autonomously and have the satisfaction of our customers as the sole priority.
- Have good communication skills
- Have the ability to adapt quickly to new contexts and show initiative
**Qualifications**:
- Graduate degree in Medical Physics (minimum DQPRM or equivalent)
- At least 3-5 years of experience from radiation therapy industry, commercial and/or clinical
- Experience of customer support
- Dosimetric planning with at least one of the major TPS of the field
- State of the art of beam collecting data
- Operating principles of the different dose calculation algorithms
- Dosimetric planning with proton or ion is a plus
- Mastery of French and English in both written and oral; another foreign language is a plus
- Experiences in the medical field and knowledge in DICOM protocol will be a plus
- Experience of education, training and project management
