**MEMBER FEDERATIONS COORDINATOR**

This role supports the Member Relations team and the services and support they provide to our Member Federations and Area Associations. This includes ensuring the smooth delivery of Member Federation grant programmes through effective coordination, administration and systems management in addition to other educational and engagement initiatives. As the first point of contact for the Member Relations team, strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.

World Athletics is the international governing body for the sport of athletics that includes track, field and road events. It includes 6 continental federations and 214 national federations, each a member of World Athletics.
World Athletics organises leading athletics competitions worldwide including a number of World Athletics Series (WAS) events and its flagship, the biennial World Athletics Championships. It also administers One-Day Meeting circuits such as the World Indoor Tour, Continental Tour, Wanda Diamond League and Road Race Label events.
World Athletics is based in **Monaco**, has a staff of 115 representing 30 different nationalities of all continents. Lord Sebastian Coe was elected as the current World Athletics President in August 2015 ,reelected in 2019 and in 2023. He has since instigated a period of high-profile organisational transformation and modernisation, as well as wide-spread reforms across the sport globally.
World Athletics’ vision is “**to use the power and accessibility of athletics and our athletes to create a healthier and fitter world”**, which gives a true purpose to all people working in the Association. They also aim at developing the whole sport - from playground and parks to Olympic Podiums.
Your main responsibilities:
ADMINISTRATION AND TEAM COORDINATION
- Supporting day-to-day correspondence with MFs, across a range of different topics.
- Leading on planning and delivery of MF Info Sessions: coordinating logistics and working with internal departments to shape relevant content.
- Tracking and following up on the status and outcomes of MF General Assemblies, regularly updating MF contact information and coordinating the onboarding process.
- Providing general administrative support, including scheduling meetings and drafting minutes, preparing correspondence, presentations and reports as necessary including for the Development Commission and World Plan Taskforce.
GRANTS ADMINISTRATION & MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
- Coordinating the post-award grant process, including the grant agreement sign-off process, analysis and follow up of grant reports and processing of grant payments.
- Contributing to identifying best case practices and insights from final reports.
DATA AND SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT
- Collecting, analysing and sharing relevant data related to MF & Area performance, growth, compliance and engagement.
- Supporting the Member Relations team to improve and implement appropriate data systems and processes including recommendations to streamline data collection, storage and usage to support better reporting, learning and decision-making.
- Supporting the review of the MF & Area Annual Reports and coordinating the consolidation of Annual Reports data.
Managing and updating the Grants Hub platform to support efficient grants administration.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a grants administration, programme coordination, sport development, international cooperation or a related field.
- A multi-skilled individual with interest and understanding of the international sports sector, capable of adapting to different environments and priorities quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent sense of planning and organisational skills.
- Analytical thinker with strong interest in data and analysis, and drive to explore improved methods of operation, planning and ways of working with data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to take initiative, work independently and take ownership of the key responsibilities of this role.
