At Spore.Bio, we are experiencing rapid growth, and with our expanding team, we are looking for a dedicated and versatile Finance & HR Operations Associate to join us. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the co-founders and support them in various administrative and operational tasks, ensuring the smooth functioning of the team.
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Accounting & Finance Operations**: Support basic accounting tasks such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and assisting with budgeting activities. Help coordinate with external accountants and manage financial records.
- ** Procurement**: Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services required by the company.
- ** Cross-functional Coordination**: Collaborate with different teams to ensure alignment and operational efficiency across the business.
- ** Administrative Support**: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including office supplies management, procurement, and maintaining office organization.
- ** Travel and Event Organization**: Plan and organize travel arrangements for team members, including booking accommodations and handling logistics. Assist with the organization of internal and external company events.
**Job Requirements**:
- ** Fast Learner**: While no specific degree is required, we are looking for someone with a strong desire and capacity to learn quickly.
- ** Initiative and Dynamism**: Take initiative and approach tasks with energy and enthusiasm, adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
- ** Autonomous Problem-Solving**: Ability to take initiative and handle tasks independently, identifying solutions to challenges as they arise.
- ** Desire to Help**: A strong drive to support the team and help others succeed. You take pride in ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
- ** Organized and Detail-Oriented**: Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, ensuring that no detail is overlooked.
- ** Excellent Communication Skills**: Comfortable interacting with different teams and levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders.
- ** Excel Proficiency**: You’ll be using it a lot; if you prefer INDEX and EQUIV to VLOOKUP, you’re the right one
