**Job Description**:
Poste basé à la Défense mais le futur collaborateur (homme/femme) travaillera majoritairement avec la Grande-Bretagne.

Purpose: To provide technical expertise and leadership to deliver improvements in business operational processes, ensure compliance with requirements, satisfaction for customers and enable delivery.

Context: The Head of Technical (HoT) has a critical and challenging role. The HoT will be expected to cover a technical role as well as a management role. The success of the SCUK team delivery depends on the HoT balancing the technical and management role and still keep up with the high demands of the fast-paced environment that the SCUK team supports. This is a leadership role which is pivotal to the commercial success of SCUK and therefore the group due to the impact on customer service delivery and supporting business development. It requires the post-holder to be a customer driven leader who can build strong working relationships with the SCI teams across borders and clients to impart technical information and deliver against strategy.
- To manage and lead the technical function to ensure effective performance delivery.
- To ensure efficient utilisation and management of resources within the team in order to achieve objectives and budgets.
- To ensure compliance with relevant accreditation criteria and take part in internal and external audits as required.
- To identify and support the development and implementation of new products/services where markets dictate to assist in delivery of budgeted revenue.
- To represent SCUK at meetings, seminars, exhibitions, certificate presentation and other events.
- To liaise with and provide professional and technical advice to SCUK teams.
- To, in conjunction with the Compliance Manager, manage the UKAS accreditation and all other recognitions granted to SCUK and relevant processes to ensure all schemes are covered.

To manage and process, in conjunction with the Compliance Manager, all extensions to scope with accreditation bodies.

**Qualifications**:

- Professionally qualified to Lead Auditor in Management Systems within SCUK core product portfolio of Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Sustainability and to relevant schemes (IRCA, IEMA, IOSH, BAFE, SSIP, FSSC).
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline as above.
- Membership of a relevant professional institute.
- Highly motivated with demonstrable leadership and team working skills.

Excellent communication skills with ability to influence
