**Description du poste**
Alcatel Submarine Networks is a fully integrated company covering all components and activities - research, engineering, manufacturing, installation, support - offering customized and optimized turnkey solutions to connect continent, people & datacenters with undersea communication systems.
The Technical Support Engineer is a position within the Services Directorate that oversees the project management in terms of support of worldwide optical submarine cables during the 25 years of the exploitation phase.
The primary mission is initially to provide support to our end customers to meet our contractual commitments. In a second step the position could be balanced between support and project management.
**Responsibilities**
- Ensure the resolution of level 2 & 3 technical requests reported by our customers
- Participate to duty weeks (24h/7d) on regular basis
- Participate to worldwide on-site interventions as part of preventive or curative missions (short duration)
- Interact with other ASN Departments for the call resolution and project management
- Participate to regular Customer meetings (remotely or at customer premises)
- Project Management with regular report, network evolution follow-up, deficiencies,
**Profil recherché**
Junior (2/4 years) with Master Degree in electronic/optics/industrial IT
**Must Have**
- Experience in optical telecom network (WDM, OTN, SDH,) and transmission product (SLTE, LTE,)
- Ability to analyze, challenge and synthetize information
- Ability for teamwork
- Ability to travel worldwide and manage onsite activities
- Proficient in English
**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of Cisco routers
- Knowledge of DCN protocols (LAN/WAN)
- Knowledge of Network Management System
- Project Management
**Salary & Benefits**:
- Salary from 45 to 55k€
- Hybrid working (2 days per week)
- Specific extra-salary for OnDuty & OnSite activities
